A magical day is upon us. In fact, I think it is the second-most magical day of the year when it comes to award season, right behind the big show, because this year's Razzies have been announced, honoring (?) the very worst films of the year. These are the same folks who named an award after Uwe Boll, and I can get behind any organization that would do such a thing. Let's be honest, they bring on the laughs. I'll stop gushing now and list this year's nominees:

Jeez, that's just painful to read through. Think of all the millions spent producing and marketing those films, not to mention their box-office numbers. Yikes.
I thought 2009 was a pretty disappointing movie year in general, so it was a little comforting when the Razzies founder apparently joked that there were enough mad movies this year to warrant an Oscar-like doubling of Worst Picture nominees. Certainly Knowing and 2012 would have to be included if that were the case. Personally I also hated Couples Retreat, The Box, The International, The Taking of Pelham 123, Friday the 13th, New York, I Love You, and if I'm going to be brutally honest - The Blind Side and The Hangover...
I agree with Daniel in that it was a pretty disappointing year.
I think it's funny that Mariah Carey made it for Worst Actress of the Decade just for Glitter. 10 years, and we can't let it go xD but Madonna is supposed to get two films, right? Die Another Day and Swept Away... hence that extra coma?
I've only seen GI Joe and Transformers - omg, is that bad?
I vote Eddie Murphy for Worst Actor of the decade JUST because he got an Oscar nod this same decade and still he can't stop making shit movies.
*sighs*
why did Oscars decided to double up best pic noms in a weak movie year... unless we expect them to nominate foreign films as best pics.
