After more than one year, Inside the Gold is saying goodbye. The good news is that it's not as much a goodbye as a "smell ya later," and "later" just happens to be now (sorry, you need to be a Simpsons fan to understand all that). In any case, I invite you to join us in a new endeavor called "Film Cheer," a place to celebrate film all-year long and not focusing too much on award season.
I thank you for sticking with us through our ups and downs and hope that you follow us over to "Film Cheer." Lots of fun and surprises are in store for you if you do -- and candy, lots of free candy!!!

Ah this is very sad news, although I certainly will be over to your new place pronto. ITG has brightened up the blogosphere for so long!
wow, looks like a brand new revamp.
will absolutely subscribe asap.
congratulations on the new site. ^^
Happy trails, kids! And I'll be following that trail to Film Cheer!
Oh that's a shame, was this year's race THAT bad? ;) I know how hard blogs can be to maintain, lol.
I shall be checking you at the new site cause I became you're one of the reasons I became an Oscar obsessive - I always liked them and stayed up at 2 am in the morning to watch them many years, but I never actually CARED about them till Marion.
That's sweet, loom. And gosh, isn't it telling of how odd this year's race has been that it's driving formerly-obsessed people like me away? lol I honestly have no real passion this year and have other stuff going on in the real side of things that put the whole shebang into perspective. I hope there comes a day that another performance like Marion's absolutely blows me away -- now THAT was a great year.
But yes, please check out the new digs. It's kinda of fun and less about who keeps winning what guild and what not. Hope to see you there soon.
I'm agree with Dorothy Porker this past year movies just have given me lukewarm feeling, even today the Oscar day, I wish I could be more excited. Shall follow you to the new digs, an old fan since the Road to the Oscar.
Thank you Dorothy.
It was about this time that the most feared word in the jewelers vocabulary began to change the industry forever. That word was Internet. Suddenly there were competitors springing up who could supply diamonds and jewelry delivered to your door, often at prices lower than could support the high overhead of the jewelry store. However, the greatest fear was that the hidden knowledge of diamonds and precious gemstones was available to any shopper who wanted to spend a little time researching online.
