Gotham City

Marion Cotillard as Catwoman? Have I died and gone to heaven? Well, almost. Joshwmc over at Deviant Art recently published a few posters featuring prospects for the the next Christopher Nolan Batman feature (including The Riddler!). They are incredibly polished works, and fantastic casting choices, if I say so myself. Check them all out here.

That is really good. And Marion as Catwoman is actually a great idea! Better than Cher, anyway.

Ooh, Kristen Bell!

Wow, those are pretty awesome. But have I missed something somewhere? Have a cast and title already been confirmed, or is this still wishful thinking?

Ah, it's all wishful thinking at this point, Daniel. Both on the author's part and mine! But I'm all for pushing the idea of Marion as Catwoman (though I'd be equally happy to see Emily Blunt playing the role). Honestly, I just want to see Catwoman be a part of Nolan's saga, but I hear he's pretty adamant against the idea, which is disappointing.

And, J.D., so true about the Cher idea! What is up with that?

IDK! It's from a British tabloid, so I'm very surprised anyone believed in any amount at all. The giveaway for me, though, was that the article said Johnny Depp will play The Riddler.

*lolz*

Kristen Bell as Harley Quinn? Uhhh, no thanks.

I also doubt Harley Quinn will ever make an appearance in Nolan's films, since pretty much her entire story is tied so closely to the Joker. It's a shame, because she's such a complex, interesting character, and she's got probably the most realistic story -- and we all know how important realism is to Nolan.

Marion Cotillard would be perfect as Catwoman. Someone over at AD suggested James Franco as the Riddler, and I think he would be an excellent choice.
