The cast of "Nine" just added another Academy Award nominee to its roster. According to People magazine, Kate Hudson will be joining Academy Award Winners Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren, Nicole Kidman, and Judi Dench. I'm exhausted just typing this!

Yeah, I read she was in talks to join as a Vogue journalist. So this has been officially confirmed, now?

There was a brief moment in time where I really liked Kate Hudson, but now she's almost enough to make me not want to see a movie.
It's not so much her though, it's the insipid choices she makes. Nine is probably above her.
I'm with you there, Craig. I thought she was really good in some of her early films like "Almost Famous," and the "Desert Blue" (and yes, I confess to having enjoyed the campy mess that was "The Skeleton Key"), but the majority of her choices leave much to be desired.
Yep, she is one of those "gee whiz" performers with little substance to speak of.
I too find Kate Hudson's presence in films a marker of likely lameness. But surely this film will be an exception. I'm not usually a fan of musicals, but Day-Lewis and Cotillard in the same film, hot damn!
