Inside the Gold is the product of an earlier collaboration between Dorothy Porker and k called "Marion Cotillard's Road to Oscar." This experiment began with a blindingly effusive belief that Marion Cotillard would win the Oscar for Best Actress after taking in a viewing of "La Vie En Rose" in July 2007. Against all odds, Cotillard ended up the winner and the blog's mission ended. But Dorothy and k, dedicated cinephiles that they are, decided to continue the collaboration, only this time the focus and content would be far broader.

"Inside the Gold" is a regularly updated blog that includes film reviews, news, and commentary and one of the few film blogs out there featuring a female perspective.
